The House of Tomorrow – Connected, Functional, Interactive.
Six smart gadgets (Smart Grid, Refrigerator, Nest Labs, Coffee Machine, Medical Dispenser, LED Wallpaper) were to be integrated into a three-dimensional illustration of a building cross-section, designed to be both inviting and homely. From the floor plan to the roof, I had the creative freedom to explore virtually and architecturally.
The decision to showcase the building in a cross-section was driven by the desire to provide a comprehensive view of the space. The concept was to make the design modern, with a minimalist interior that felt approachable yet not overly extravagant. The villa gradually came to life, filled with individual 3D models, thoughtfully lit, and rendered to create a seamless, engaging atmosphere.
The final renderings were featured in the magazine of voestalpine AG, highlighting the innovative approach to smart architecture.
