Why does the Court of Justice of the EU Exist?

What has the Court of Justice done for me?
“The Court of Justice of the European Union is the judicial body of the EU. Its role is to ensure that EU laws are respected by the EU’s institutions and Member States and applied consistently throughout the EU. This guarantees that the EU is based on the rule of law, a fundamental principle of all democratic entities.” – Quote by the Court of Justice of the European Union
On behalf of the European Commission, we created four explanatory videos about the Court of Justice of the European Union, detailing how the Court operates, its benefits for citizens, and its essential role within the EU.
Led by the design and motion graphics studio DONDON in Berlin, the concept revolved around creating a 3D Pop-Up book to visually illustrate the functions and dynamics of the EU judiciary system, bringing to life the roles and interactions of its key protagonists and organs.
My responsibility was to visualize the storyboard and plan the technical integration of 2D and 3D elements within After Effects and Cinema 4D. I also developed detailed icons, illustrated elements, and their animations and interactions—along with the introductory animation and parts of the 3D animation.
Additionally, all videos were translated into 27 languages for international accessibility.
